A dependable lease.
A relationship that feels personal.
Few things are more stressful than a vacant rental home. That's where Lagniappe Homes comes in. We sign the lease with you and pay the full rent every month, with no management fee. We'll take care of the home as if it were our own, while handling the guests, the cleaning, and the day-to-day operations. It's a win-win for everyone.
How the lease works
Your lease is with us.
Lagniappe Homes is the prime tenant. Placements from vetted leads are handled on our side, and our relationship with you is governed by your lease.
Everyday care, clearly defined.
We coordinate routine upkeep, cleaning, and home checks. Maintenance responsibilities, repairs, and costs are set out in the lease.

Your home matters.
Your questions do, too.
Whether you own one rental or represent a property management company, we welcome a conversation about what this arrangement would mean for your home.
Ask Amanda & Jeff directly ↗Is this a property management agreement?
Lagniappe Homes signs the lease with you and pays the monthly rent. We are your prime tenant, and you deal directly with us as your renter. We handle placements ourselves; no management fee or percentage is deducted from your rent.
Who would stay in my home?
We work with vetted leads for corporate and traveling-professional stays, as well as families displaced from their homes, due to insurance claims. Vetting and placements are handled by Lagniappe Homes. The homeowner deals with us as the prime tenant.
How long would people stay?
Mid-term stays are our primary focus. Some needs may be shorter, while professional assignments or a displaced family’s insurance-related housing needs can last much longer—even a year. Our lease with the homeowner is structured as a long-term prime tenant lease. We manage individual placements and stay lengths on our side.
Does this involve subleasing?
Yes. We start with your existing lease contract, with Lagniappe Homes as the prime tenant. We pay the monthly rent and handle furnished placements on our side. You deal directly with us as your renter.
What if the home is between stays?
Your agreed rent is paid under our lease terms, rather than calculated as a share of guest bookings. The owner’s rent is not tied to the revenue from an individual stay.
Who handles cleaning, upkeep, and repairs?
We handle guest coordination, cleaning arrangements, and routine upkeep. The lease sets out responsibility for repairs, major systems, approval thresholds, damage, and any owner-paid expenses. We discuss those details up front so everyone knows what to expect.
Can I review proof of insurance?
Absolutely. Ask us for proof of insurance. We’ll discuss the intended use and the applicable coverage with you before signing, including any owner policy requirements. Coverage details are reviewed for the specific arrangement rather than assumed.
I use a property manager. Can we still talk?
Yes. We’re happy to speak with the owner or their authorized property manager about a proposed lease. Lagniappe Homes would sign the prime tenant lease and remain your direct point of contact as the renter throughout the tenancy.
A small next step
Could your home
be a good fit?
Start with the address and the monthly rent you are asking as the owner. We’ll introduce ourselves, answer your questions, and talk through the possibilities. No commitment needed to have a conversation.
